Small microphones placed in silicone casts of the artist's ears receive sound binaurally. This signal feeds into a mixer, which then sends the live sound into headphones. As the listener makes sound, they hear themselves from the perspective of another person. The height and distance between the ears correspond to the proportions of the artist.
